Check Out Our PBS American Graduate Day
Segment!

In case you missed it, watch our segment
on "American Graduate Day." PBS invited Kimberly Boyd of BGCA and
Elijah M., a 15-year-old member from Boys & Girls Clubs of Columbus, Ohio
to discuss the importance of summer learning. The nationally broadcast program
addressed the nation's high school dropout crisis with the goal of amplifying
the conversation on education and motivating volunteers to help prepare
students for great futures.

Gap Stores to Conduct In-Store Coat and
Donation Drive

This November, Gap stores across the country will partner with local Boys &
Girls Clubs by collecting new and gently-used coats and asking customers for
donations. Although details are being finalized, the promotion is tentatively
set for Nov. 16-23. Approximately 50 percent will go back to the local Clubs
aligned with associated Gap stores. Additionally, Clubs will have the
opportunity to collect the coats for Club youth and families in need. More
information will be shared directly with CPOs associated with the promotion in
the upcoming weeks. Keep an eye open for additional details!
